So deeply sorry to hear of the loss of this fine musician. Your music will always have a place in our hearts. We were priviledged to see you in concert as the original BJH and the memory of that concert will always remain in our hearts and minds. Thank you, Woolly for your beautiful music. Peace x

Une pensée pour vous tous, quel choc d'apprendre que Woolly n'est plus là. Mais la musique reste ainsi que le souvenir des concerts et des moments partagés. Merci Woolly et on pense à tout ceux qui restent.

Me and my wife were fortunate to see you playing with BJH in November in Essen and it was a great evening to remember, but it doesn't compensate our emptiness knowing that you are no longer amongst us. Woolly, you belong to the best moments of our life.

Only saw today the sad news. Woolly's music has been part of my life for nearly 40 years. Fortunate to see him live back in the 70s and recently. Woolly's beautiful and haunting melodies will live forever. RIP

I feel very shocked and sorry about Wooly's demise. He was a very colourful and talented character, who was always good for a laugh. Life around him was never boring. I often think about the beginnings of the group and the fun we had at band practices at our house. Wooly had us in fits all the time.

Ruhe in Frieden. Rest in Peace. Ich hoffe Wooly findet das,was er hier vielleicht vergebens gesucht hat, da wo er jetzt vielleicht ist. Hier hatte er mich durch meine Jugend begleitet...

It's a tremendous news for me.
Your heavenly song were the soundtrack
of my youth.
You were a very special person.
I'm sure you'll find in heaven the sea of tranquility that does not exist on earth.
Bye dear Woolly.

Was very shocked last year when I read of Woolly's death. BJH's music has lost its soul. I am so glad I heard and saw him play in Bad Aibling 2009. Hope I'll hear him again - Beyond the Grave ...

Have been meaning to post a message of condolence for a while. Had the great pleasure of meeting Wooly after the show in Perth...Scotland.....and appreciated his music so much more after realising how much of a decent funny gentleman he was. Really sad at thought he wont play again and hope he is at peace.

Wooly you were an inspiration and I feel terrible that I've only just found out and that I wasn't around for you and Sue. It was a privilege to work with you, John, Les and Mel and hope you're now at peace. All my love xx
