I'm schocked. just some months ago, I was in the first row of the BJH concert in Basel, singing with Wooly "After the Day" and looking at his incredible talent and humour. We will miss him as a one of our greatest artist ever. God bless you!

Stunned, shocked and very very sad.our thoughts and sincere condolences are especially with his partner, family, John Lees and also Craig, Kevin and Jez. Still can't believe it, so glad we were able to see him perform live. Woolly truly was the soul of Barclay James Harvest and will be sorely missed. A true legend and musical genius, his spirit will live on through his music. I am devastated, words can't describe how sad this news is. Rest In Peace Woolly

I was so shocked to read this news and it doesn't seem that long since I wrote a message for Mel's passing. I just hope woolly is in a happier place. He was such a funny man and made me laugh with his comic writing and joking. His Mellotron playing was sublime and his composing superb. he will never be forgotten.
